December - Coop's 1st Christmas

Lynn has been applying for jobs with the Bureau of Prisons.  Aside from the unfortunate aspect of working with inmates, the pay is awesome and the benefits are unbeatable. We just have to get in, which seems to be more difficult than we had hoped.  We know that our Heavenly Father has a plan for us and although we get discouraged when each month passes and we haven’t moved yet, we are happy in Rexburg and just enjoying life with our little guy!

Since we have been hoping to move soon, we put our condo on the market this last May (still for sale!!! Someone buy it!!)So, for that reason, a lot of our stuff is in storage; including all of our Christmas decorations.  I guess I am just too lazy, but we decided to not put anything up this year.  Luckily, Coop is too young to know the difference.  Lynn’s family is only about 15 minutes away, so we bumbed off of them and helped decorate their tree.  I’m afraid Lynn and I are both a little picky when it comes to presents even, so we pretty much know everything we are getting if we don’t already have it but now that we have Coop, we get to buy for him and surprise him.  I probably spent more than I should have given that he is only 4 months old, but hey, he is our only kid!  We will post pics of him opening his stocking and presents next week!

We made it through half of December without snow which is amazing.  We are both ready to be somewhere warm.  After 7 winters in Rexburg, I am ready for some HEAT! A lot of the jobs we have applied for are in southern California and Arizona. We can’t wait to be able to run outside all year long!
